Darkness and light

I am unsure about the accuracy of the phrase “It is darkest before dawn,” but some darkest moments in life seem to herald clarity and breakthrough. 

May we have the fortitude to endure life’s uncertainties and face up to the terrors that visit us in our darkest hours.
