My fascination with night lights was conceived in the leafy Lubowa suburbs of Kampala. The hilly landscape transforms into glittering lights in the evening and it is an image that lingers in one’s mind even after retiring to bed.

These lights are also reminiscent of flying back home from long trips abroad. The view of welcoming city lights as one’s plane makes its descent into Nairobi’s international airport is unmatched.
